I grew up in the Garden State on a farm. Cows. Dandelions. Sledding. Gardens. Daydreaming.
As a young girl I daydreamed about living in Maine...and when I grew up, I moved there. Near the ocean. How lucky.
Now, after many happy years near the sea, two kids, two art galleries, one garden shop, and many art shows later, I am back on a farm not far from where I was born.
My paintings are really stories told using color and brush instead of words and pen. They begin with real places and people and then my imagination runs free. Trees. Fields. Farms. Lighthouses. The ocean. These are the things I have always loved to paint...and the stories of the people and animals that inhabit such places.
I have been a professional artist since 1989, but I have been a painter my entire life. My paintings have found homes in the U.S., Canada, England, Australia and Japan.
