I have been painting most of my life. When I was 12 years old, I knew I was going to spend my life as an artist and began painting realistic landscapes inspired by the countryside around me. I have always believed a landscape to be a story. Over the years my work has evolved into a naive style, which has allowed me freedom to embrace the perfect mix of painting and story telling. These days my work is inspired by everyday happenings, life's simple experiences, and the special events and common threads that are woven into all of our lives.

Although my painting career began in the rolling hills and rambling woods of northern New Jersey, I have been living in southern Maine since 1985. I currently live in a barn, in the middle of a large field surrounded by pine trees and open sky, my gardens, and all of this not far from the ocean.

My paintings are in many collections throughout the U.S., the U.K., Europe and Japan.

I hope you enjoy viewing my gallery of available paintings and do feel free to contact me directly to purchase a piece or to ask any questions you may have.

“ Naive art is characterized by a childlike simplicity of execution and vision. As such it has been valued by modernists seeking to get away from what they see as the insincere sophistication of art created within the traditional system.” The Tate Britain
